That was a friend of mine's truck. Had another fella and landowner with me that day, and the Toyota won't haul that many.
Yote went to the pen. She was the lightest colored one I've caught.

Rodney, you really need to consider doing a K-9 trapping demo at the convention this year. I think you really have something to offer. Think about it. Nice work. Tony

Good job Rod.
This is my take on mounts and is not directed at anyone just my 2 cents worth, which don't matter much.
I have always hated spending money on mounts. Breaks my heart to spend hard earned good money on critters that I can see in the wild everyday. Just don't feel the need to put one in the house to do nothing more than collect dust.
Buzzard says I am a horn hunter and I am. But I take a saw to all my antlers no matter how big.
When I can't get out of my house to see the critters in the wild I will just use my memory. When my memory is gone and I cannot get out of the house - just put me out to pasture to die of exposure. After this bad back thing I have just gone through I don't ever want to be a burden to anyone.
Most critter mounts look like crap after a couple of years anyway.
Mike
Don't mean to sound like a grouch. Just when you put it in print is sounds a little rough.

I have got two nice buck shoulder mounts and two ducks. I want one more duck and that is it unless I kill a monster. My brother in law wanted me to mount that cat and my first fox, but I did not see wasting the money, besides my house is full of enough stuff with three kids!

Rodney, are you catching all those yotes at dirtholes, flatsets, or both?

I'm with cannonball. Someone asked me if I was going to get a cat mounted, I said no, I couold buy a really nice rifle with that much money. I have nothing mounted, but I do have some pictures. Taxi seems like a waste of money to me, but that is just my oppinion.

Rosney are you going to bring some of that killer formula for bait you made to the Spring fling. If that is what you have caught all them critters on this year I would be willing to buy that stuff!!

Todd, I'm on the last jar right now. Have a couple of batches working that will be ready for next year. Will be ready for the big convention in Smithfield at the end of Sept. You can get some then. I'm bad about forgeting to take a pic of a set before the catch. Took one this weekend though. This is a typical dirthole for coyotes. For Gray fox, I'd do more blocking than this. I have better luck with coyotes if the set is more subtle.
