I have been searching the Regulations for Fox trapping in Davidson County and cannot find anything about when the season starts. Does anyone for this are know anything about it? Also the regulations are misleading on when to buy tags for foxes, do I need to have them before I start setting steel or after I have reached my 10 fox limit? Is the same true with otter as well? Another question I have is what if I go out of state and trap foxes, how to the resource commission know that they came from another state? Do I need some sort of form signed by that other states wildlife officer saying they were taken in that state? Usually I dont have to worry about all of this cause I mainly stick to beaver, coon and muskrat but I'm wanting to explore some other fur bearers. Thanks and happy trapping.
