heres a easy question, it might depend on preference. i got some good dye from Newt at the convention and was wondering the most efficient way to dye all my traps? I got a few of 330s 220s and 110s also some 1.5 soft catches that I have dyed before. Just wondering about the container to use or box with a small tarp lined in it?... trap dipping, storage? I know this is 101 dye talk but kinda need to know. ADC work picking up for me here in Wilmington, lol! Any help much appreciated, thanks again!

Might just be me, but I paint all my water traps and dye (boil in logwood then wax) my land traps.

Ok Angus, what you got is dip, not dye. Clean your traps real good so they don't contaminate the dip with foreign odors. Mix the dip with 3 parts water to 1 part dip. You want a tote or something just big enough to fit your biggest trap in, but small enough to get the dip to a dunkable depth. Then you just dip'em and hang them up to dry. You'll probably need to do it a couple of times for the first treatment. Dip once, let it dry, then dip again. Use a tote that you can put a lid on, too. That way when you're done just put the lid on and put it up out of the way. Just add a pint or two every year and you'll be good to go.
