Do they have any leads on who did it?

They have a pretty good idea and some words have been exchanged. The sherriff has been involved so what happens now is anybody's guess. Hopefully for them it won't be a problem again.

Do they think it was AR people or someone acting on their own?

We believe it was an old fart who moved from up north that doesn't like the sound of music in his back yard. The area the pen is in is surrounded by hunting clubs and has dogs running there year round. Just guess he had a meltdown. Been pretty quiet lately so maybe he got the message.

On that note, I have found several yankees in NC that were dagum good guys, but the majority of them are ruining my life with their idioligy and sour attitude. I didn't mean to offend some of my transplant friends but a majority of your former neighbors are sure not worth the air they are breathing. It is hard to keep up with people who sit home all day and think of ways to destroy our way of living or just our deep rooted hobbies. I like to run my hounds and set some traps when I want , the way it has been in this area forever !!! Sorry I have to get down off of my soapbox now!!!

Not payin' anything for the yankees. There might be a bounty on 'em down about Georgia or Alabama, though. ;D

too bad on the yankee bounty!!! I would start a new job if that was the case. I might even do it for a reduced rate just so I could return the south back to the old days!! On the other post I am not buying them just helping a friend locate some. If you have any with good feet then call me and I will help you get rid of them. Only during trapping sesason though. Thanks

note: Most of the people we refer to as "yankees," at least where I'm from, are actually from Long Island. Most of the upstate guys actually ain't that bad. Don't know what it is about Long Island that makes 90%+ of them not worth the oxygen they breath.

Well, I'm with yah on that, why you think I moved down here..lol. I grew up in the Pocono Mountains, and they literally TOOK OVER late 80's early 90's. I was just a mis-placed redneck who lives and breaths huntin, fishin and trappin! Thing is, they are all moving down here, maybe I need to move back now..lol

I used to work for a guy that swore up and down he stopped at the Mason/Dixon line and had a blood transfusion. ;D He's still very much a yankee, though. Great guy, love him to death, do anything for him, but he's still a yankee. Did I mention he's also from Long Island?
