coyotes

I am new to trapping/never trapped before. Can you catch coyotes in a live cage ? and what is the best leg trap to use for coyote?

Im not going to say you cant catch a coyote in a cage but it would be few an far between if you did happen to et on like that. Best leg hold... probably an #3 softcatch, but I use #1.5 bridger fully modified with no problems holding. I may try some #1.65 bridgers fully moded this season but ill still use the bridgers an NW`s. Hope this helps....

foot holds are for sissys... catch em by the leg an they will be there when you get there....lol

ill just jump outta tree an put em in a sleeper hold, wilst they are out ill just put em in a pet caddy an goto the coyote bank....lol

I've seen Cowboy put a rear naked choke on a coyote before.
