A few Turtle Traps

I posted these pic's on T-man, but thought I'd put them on here. I have lots of younger guys PM me there interested in snappers.
Hers a few to look at.
I got all my traps either from Newt or through Newt. There are some other fine turtle traps on the market too.

I have run hoop style turtle traps, such as the one you pictured, with good results. However, where I live, we have a problem with them. Both otter and gators will go thru these traps like the probverbial hot knife thru butter, and then the traps have to be repaired. Unless you have some experience in net repair & weaving, repairs can be haphazard.
