Are you a member of the NCTA? I would suggest that you attend the convention in Sept. and meet people and get involved........Jeff. You can always call Jimmy(The President) and ask any question you want answered, or send a private message(PM)to him through this site. Bottom...At the present I am not a member. Although, I am a past member. I have talked with Jimmy on the phone. He is a great guy, in my opinion. He is a great President. He has a passion for the sport of trapping. So do I. In my post, I was looking to see what the legislative agenda is for the trappers in NC. Does the NCTA poll their membership on what they want? And, who carries those opinions to the NCWRC commisioners. I am with you, not against you. Trapping is great fun for me and my kids. I guess I may have been to harsh in my post. In the political arena, it is very important that a voiced agenda be made. The NCWRC has no clue of what you want unless you tell them. Jeff

Not a problem bambikiller. I didn't take it harsh. Maybe "I" was.
Jimmy(President), and the board of directors carry our opinions to the NCWRC. Some of the things in the works are not posted on this site due to our "opposition" getting wind of what we are trying to do, and attempting to block it.
I think a newsletter will be coming out sometime.
As far as the convention, I was saying come on out and meet some fellow trappers. You don't have to be a member, but you could join there if you'd like. Good eats, supplies, demos, contests for kids and adults, .......did I mention good food! Camping available, or you can sleep inside the building. Hope you can make it.
