Find a local country store where men folk hang out and let them know that you trap beaver, it can open alot of doors.

I agree with biscuit. I have been in a country store, and got 5 permissions signed in 5 mins. Mention removing beaver, and the word will spread.

I mentioned beaver to some good 'ol boys today before it got outta my mouth, they said you will have some beaver to trap this week. One thing I did was have cards printed up with my name, # and email. They say LICENSED TRAPPER on the top of them and have a pic of a beaver on them. I leave em at country stores and a couple of the country sporting goods stores around here. They pay off as some one grabs it may not have a beaver problem but he will eventually or he knows someone that does!!!

Ran into the same situation trying to get deer hunting permission on land owners. Went to the insurance company and they supplied a list of people that had deer collisions lately. The problem solved on permission slips. Just preform to standards once there. Beaver= flooded basement or crop dammage= insurance companys...

Not a bad idea sean... been checking holes around here all season and found that most are empty of saw tooth's. this drought really moved them out...
