Got back from VA on thurs and was able to get some sets in yesterday. about 18 total just a small line to have some fun with. This 2 track was loaded with cat sign, I punched in 3 sets on it and had this nice female waiting on me this morning. I think something tried to get to her in the trap as she had a big wound on her side. I didnt see any yote tracks around but some new cat tracks. Every time I tried to get the catch pole on her she would roll over like she wanted me to pet her belly. I told her "I aint falling for that one again".....LOL Also put in a few coon sets under a bridge that had alot of sign and had this nice boar this morning.

Very Nice catch Sean. I know you are glad to be back so you can just play around a little your last week. Hope you can get some of those coyotes also. Put some of that "Rock Bottom" down the hole, and they will be waiting on ya the next day.

Nice pictures Sean, that is a pretty kitty. That coon looks chilly! Rodney needs to bottle that stuff and sell it this year at the convention.

BTW can you tell me about that trap you are using on that cat? It looks like a soft jaw maybe, but different springs and that tab... Is that a Bridger and is it stock or some other type of trap and what size? It may be the picture but it looks big, were you after cats only or K-9 to. Again nice job.. Next year after dove season I going to keep wings and and try for some cats I have seen on the farm when hunting deer... Thanks Jon

Thanks Jon, The trap is a MB650 inside and outside laminated w/3/16" offset. on these traps I am running about 10" of chain w/JC Connor shocksprings. It is a beefy trap but it holds whatever steps in it. I have caught fox in them and was able to release them without any problem. This trap is my #1 choice for cats and yotes. It has a huge pan area for them to step on.
