I have a friend who has 3,000 acres in Brunswick County that adjoins Columbus County and the Waccamaw River. He is in need of some serious beaver control trapping. In return, the trapper will have sole access and permission to trap the property. There are the usual populations on the property-coyote, fox, coons and probably possums- available to the trapper. I have heard from local folks that coyotes are plentiful in the area. Great live market potential.
PM me for his information if interested, but be warned in advance: this will require more than just tapping beavers when the mood strikes you or just catching a few to pull the wool over his eyes.
Too far for me to tackle.

I'd be interested. That's not too far from me right now, and I've been looking for places in Brunswick to trap fox. Probably have to take a week or two off to hit it hard enough, but if its stocked well it'd be worth it. Send me the info if you like.

That does indeed sound like a Charlie Dobbins experience. Campfire, dutch oven, listening at night to the critters fighting over the carcass pile...

Good link, it worked. It is amazing but Ted Nugent can spot "hunters" in the crowds at airports and come up to them and talk our language. That was my experience @ Winnipeg several years back,

Cool! When you have the eye of a hunter other hunters can see it.
