Has anyone tried spray painting your traps with Rust Oleum instead of dipping them in a dye? It would definitely be a lot easier and would not make as much mess. I am just not sure if it would have an odor that might linger for a few days. Thanks.

The only traps I spray paint are my 330 and 220 . I do spray paint some of my small coon traps. All fox traps are dye and wax.

Hey, I don't own any dye. I use high heat black or brown. Boil'em down, dry and spray just enough to cover. Let dry, then wax em. I have not had any problems. Had more problems with the dye and stains. lol
