Got one batch of my water traps treated with Formula One. Turned out real nice. I have another batch of Conibears, some more CDR's, and a few #4 long springs that I'm putting a light coat of rust on right now. Will try to treat them this weekend. Here's the first batch. Newt calls it "brown" , but it's really (OD).......green. All the crappy chains on the conibears have been replaced since the pic, and a swivel added. They are ready to roll!!!!!

I'm about to try formula one. Did you mix as directed or a little thick or thin?? Thanks JOHN

I mixed it like the directions said. These traps were dipped 3 times. They dry in a couple hours, and you can dip them several times in one day!

I've never tried any of the dip formulas, just a dye and wax type of guy. I dip body grippers in a mix of flat black Rustoleum and mineral spirits. Works well and requires only one dipping. I sent some off this week for mods to a fellow in Wisconson. So many traps, so little time.

I did the "Jimmy" Routine, and they came out real nice. I dipped twice, cause I hadn't done them before, but the results were great.

hey rodney is there a possibility of you posting a close up pic of the chains on your coil springs? The ones I have have the big ring on the chain, tha set up you got there looks much better.

I finally got around to dipping mine this afternoon. Mine were dipped in "brown" as well. Gonna do the second dip tommorrow afternoon. I'm really pleased so far.
