Did you mean #11cs/dj? That should be a good coon/rat/mink trap, though I'd put it on a drowner.

No not the coilsprings ,these are dbl. longsprings that are dbl jawed and have a down pan stop.There in theFeb.issue of FUR-FISH-GAME.On page 52.im thinking the down pan stop helps with knawing with coon under the jaws :)blackettle

I use a lot of #11's both regular and double jaw. Good trap.
Now as to the new trap that is off set with the down pan stop. Never seen on in person. Got to look at it before I can talk about it.

I can't help but think that an offset for coon just wouldn't be good. Maybe a #11 is small enough for it to be effective, I don't know, but I had a coon easily pull out of a #2 offset (it was set for bobcat) this year. Didn't even trash the set. Don't know about rats or mink.
